REGIONAL CONSULTATION AT THE HEART OF OUR ACTIONS

The Agora of the Circular Economy develops currently networking between community organizations across the Laurentians. 

The AEC is notably part of the consultation “Regional circular economy strategy – post-consumer textiles component” organized by Économie Sociale Laurentides. As part of the Government Sustainable Development Strategy 2023-2028, work is underway to establish a government roadmap aimed at accelerating the transition to a circular economic model in Quebec, as well as a governance framework and a program. government action allowing ministries and organizations to accelerate the transition of the Quebec economy towards a circular model.

In November 2023, the AEC also participated in the regional day of the Social Economy Project, organized by Économie Sociale Laurentides which began a tour of the regions of Quebec last spring, to forge links between social economy organizations, bring out practices and innovations in social economy and discuss regional issues and solutions.
